LED strip holder with optional bowden guide for the Anycubic i3 Mega. The design consists off 15 cm parts that can be press-fitted on the metal frame of the printer.
There is an 8 mm slot to slide in LED strips. No tape or glue required, so they won't come loose in time. The slot will fit most 8mm LED strips without waterproofing coating. Search for "2835" LED strips for suitable types. There is a small cover at the front side to prevent being blinded while looking at your print.
I connected the LED strip straight to the power supply, using the slot for the PSU input voltage selection. I'm planning to also add a cable guide for this slot to provide a cleaner look.
File "LED_strip_side.stl" contains the basic LED strip holder, +- 1 hour to print.
File "LED_strip_top.stl" contains the same design with an added bowden guide that snaps around the back side of the top metal profile, +- 3 hours to print. The bowden guide is optional and can be replaced by the regular LED strip holder.
