My Vevor compressor came without hydraulic oil (has to be: ISO VG46 or AW 46) so I needed a funnel to fill it with oil. The funnels I had did not fit or fitted poorly. The funnel must have a spout with an offset wrt the center towards the fill opening. The ones I found on Thingiverse did not have a spout that will fit and go inside the fill opening. Thus I create one that allows an offset spout that will fit into the fill opening. You can customize all dimensions. My favourit is funnel4Vevor3.stl . Note that my computer uses metric dimensions.
CLEAN the funnel before using it !! You do not want plastic particles in the oil !!!!
All parameters:
- $fn the number of fragments to create a round shape like a cylinder or circle.
- wallThickness the thickness of the walls, in mm.
- topDiameter the diameter of the top section, in mm.
- middleDiameter the diameter of the middle section, in mm.
- bottomDiameter the diameter of the bottom and spout section, in mm.
- topHeight the height of the top section, in mm.
- middleHeight the height of the middle section, in mm.
- bottomHeight the height of the bottom section, in mm.
- spoutHeight the height of the spout, in mm.
- middleOffset the horizontal offset of the middle section wrt the center of the top section, in mm.
- bottomOffset the horizontal offset of the bottom section wrt the center of the top section, in mm. The spout uses this offset also. The spout should fit into the fill opening.
- addHandle if you want a 'handle' then set this parameter to true, otherwise set it false.
- handlePosition the position of the handle around the top section, in degrees. This makes it more easy to keep the 'offset' funnel in the middle position with one hand while using the other hand to poor something in the funnel.
- handleHeight the height of the handle, in mm.
- handleWidth the width of the handle, in mm.
- addReinforcement if you want some reinforcement ribs then set it to true.
