The file 'Anet A8 Strain Relief Bracket For Heated Bed Cable 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 186.1KB.
I use Greg191134's clip on my CR-10 and it works great! I keep seeing more and more complaints about fried hotbed connections in the Anet community so I snagged this to make one for myself that wasn't a chunky and ugly(IMO) chain.
Please use filament that will not warp from your bed temperature. I used annealed MakerGeek's Raptor PLA which can handle up to 125°c.
Requires:
2 small zip ties
1 grub screw (spare part that came with the A8 - yeah, probably the one that was missing from your box ;)
I left a little extra space for the bed height to accommodate for filament shrinkage during the annealing process. The grub screw squeezes into the hole to create a secure connection to the bed.
Update: I added a v2 which doesn't have the additional space to allow for shrinkage
Disclaimer:
I'm a n00b! This seems to be working great for me but if you use it and it explodes in a horrific fireball and wipes your whole town from the map I cannot be held responsible.
Please don't ask me for slicer settings or what went wrong with your print. Again, I'm a n00b. WTF do I know!?
