The file 'Anet A8 I3 X-Axis Cable Chain Mounts 3D Printer Model' is (stl, scad) file type, size is 138.0KB.
This is a remix of the HICTOP Prusa i3 Cable Chain mounts. After doing the install on the x-axis, I discovered that the cable chain would rub the left x-axis threaded rod whenever the carriage moved to the left. This rubbing would cause the carriage to shake, and distort my prints.
My solution is to create new offset mounts that are set back about a centimeter on both the carriage and the motor. The clearance created by the offset is perfect for the Anet A8, and works smoothly.
Note: I guilt the carriage mount vertically in OpenSCAD, but you should rotate it 90 degress, and then use supports when you print it.
