The file 'Anet A8 Fan & Sensor Holder 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 217.7KB.
NOTE: If you are using a 12mm sensor then I would recommend this part https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3131743
Several users had asked me if I could combine my sensor bracket https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1907394 with a holder for the extruder fan where you could easily remove the fan in order to get to the extruder gears.
I was pointed to this nifty idea designed by 85holmberg https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2326111 Thanks for the very practical design!
I took the idea merging both together by creating a new design.
This holder is designed to be used without the heat sink. My tests at 235°C nozzle and 95°C bed temperatures have shown that the lower portion of the extruder holding the nozzle throat remains cold as long as the fan is running.
Besides the benefit of easy to access to the extruder this modification will also reduce the mass of the extruder unit by 12.3 grams (0.44 ounces).
It weighs 5.6 grams when printed in ABS.
You will need two M3 x 25mm screws to mount the holder to the extruder motor.
Here are the settings to use with the Marlin firmware 1.9.x:
Offsets for 12mm sensors:
Offsets for 18mm sensors and for BLTouch:
Please let me know if you have a problem with the design so I can improve it if necessary or you what new features to the design and ask before making any kind of remix.
Also please post a picture with comments if you have made one.
Thanks.

Added a version for use with a BLTouch "Anet_Fan_Sensor_Holder_BLT_Leo_N"
You will need two M3 screws.
Updated "Anet_Fan_Sensor_Holder_BLT_Leo_N" to accommodate the new version BLTouch-Smart.
