Is your radial fan too loud? Does this whistling noise get your nerve? Just get rid of it by changing it with a 80mm fan.
This adapter allows to mount a 80mm fan.
The intention was to mount the fan as near as possible to the extruder to avoid pulling the extruder down on the side it is mounted.
Right now it is not tested how much infill this object needs to have enough stability. It will be tested with 20% infill.
In my opinion 0% infill would be the best case in matter of low weight and it should work. There should be only little load to it.
Use the screws of the radial fan to mount this adapter to the extruder case.
