Summary

This planter was found deep in the jungle many years ago and seems to be thousands of years old. But wait - the ancient culture invented a self watering system? Whaaaaat!? Does it really work? Take it home and try it out. And please tell us if this ancient technology really works.

Yes I like to design planters. And yes here is yet another one. Thanks to MakerBot for the scan and Terrain4Print for the walls.

There are two versions.

  • without drainage - you can scale to the size you wish - only one part (current size: 120x120x62mm)

  • with a self watering system, in two parts (see the picture). Scale it at your own risk. Scale both parts at the same. (current size: 177x143x74mm) Be aware of the hole if you have to add support.

I did not test it! And I did not print it yet. Just design it for fun. I am not sure if it really need support.

If you make it please be so kind and let us know how it works.

And yes, the walls are wide - but it's ancient. ;)
