Summary

I wanted an AMS stacker that was sturdy, but didn't require additional footprint on my workspace and would work with the AMS drawer stand I already had. I also didn't want an absurdly tall tower of AMSes making my already small office feel smaller. I couldn't find something that was an exact fit for what I wanted, so I made it myself. Hope it benefits anyone out there looking for similar! The space on the bottom has a cavity large enough to accomodate caps on the AMS closure/levers.

Note the obvious trade off with the space conservation of this design is that you have to do some AMS juggling anytime you need to change spools in a lower AMS.

For assembly, the braces have a very subtle chamfer to help with slotting them in. The Front/Back braces go into the main stacker sides. Then the brackets go on to of those in the middle, and finally the middle brace goes between the two brackets. The braces aren't load bearing, they are just key to keep the stackers from going flying when you lift the unit as a whole with an AMS on top! With them, you can use the handles to lift the AMS and stackers as a single unit.
