Parts for the Amiga 4000D Chinon FB357A floppy drive are hard to come by, and I had to create some repair parts in order to make my own drive complete. With these parts it is possible to mend a broken front plate and a missing eject button.
I found it best to remove the drive from the metal case in order to clue the parts to the front cover. I recommend using a drop of Cyanoacrylate glue (Super glue), even if I used two component epoxy.
I have attached a couple of pictures with the repair process. Be prepared to file and mend a litte in order to make the small snap hitches to fit good.
