AMAZEMET upper housing graphite o-ring lock & holder removal tool.
The original instructions are to set the upper housing on the ground and use a mallet to knock the graphite o-ring lock and holder out of the assembly.
This allows you to (1) not damage the alignment ring, (2) not need precise aim with a mallet, (3) do this on the table surface not floor, and (4) use an arbor press if you have one handy to smoothly push the lock & holder out.
