Wanted a stable and cheap frame instead of Anet a8 plastic one, make this with 20x40mm metal bar welded toghether.
Made this project as copy of am8 frame with alu profile, same measure, same assembling. Made all the pieces to fit on bars, Y support are made so that you have the possibility to adjust sideways the bar in order to have a perfect straight bed since drill very precisely is harder than to adapt a plastic piece to fit always good.
To keep pieces on bar i use autodrill 4.2 inox screw.
Only thing you need to buy are:
340mm 2040 x 2pcs (sides)
313mm 2040 x 3pcs (front, back, and top)
440mm 2040 x 2pcs (z axis)
Self thread screw x 30pcs
All the rest you just unmount your anet a8 and bring on this new frame.
Z support are available with bearing and without them (mount s you wish).
In the Extra.rar file are available Extra pieces for support stock PSU, 30A psu, stock lcd, 12864 LCD, anet board and ramps 1.4 with or without mosfet.
To be printed as you wish, i print all without support and at 0.32 with 0.6 nozzle. I print and advice to print in Hips or ABS if you ever plan to put it in a enclosed box and print abs.
