I designed this led strip support for my Anet AM8 3d printer.
This support consists of 2 parts, left and right.
I used a 35cm LED strip (21 LEDs) at 12V and I attached it to the support using double sided tape.
To control the switching on and off of the LEDs I use a relay connected to the PSU; the relay is connected to a raspberry with Octoprint; I use the plug-in Enclosure Plugin (https://plugins.octoprint.org/plugins/enclosure/) to control the leds.
If you do not have Octoprint you can control the led strip with a switch always connecting it directly to the power supply.
To mount the stand I used 4 M5 Square Nut and 4 M5x10 Button Head Socket Cap Screw, same pieces used to mount the other AM8 components.
Happy printing!
