This is a 2 pieces part you can use to mount accessories on aluminum 3cm rails.
Obs: You don't need to slide it from one end of the rail!
Since there is the OpenSCad script attached, you can easily customize it for you needs by changing some parameters or adding features.
You might need to change the parameter "middle_space=-0.0;" from -0.0 to -0.4 depending your printing quality and the result you want to have.
I use a thread tap M5 to mount M5 screws.
Obs: Don't thread all the way if you want the assembly to grip in the rail!
trick: I use a ohmmeter between the rail and the tap to tweet when I must stop threading.
