This little box has a diagonal slot for an Apple Airtag, and fits exactly inside an XR rail. The rear of my left rail always has room for this. It can be secure with a small XR Philips screw if you insert an m3x5.7 threaded insert. If you don't have those, you can also secure it with a tie wrap.
I found this a handy solution because it makes the Airtag easily accessible for changing the battery. I used to put my Airtags inside boxes or footpads, but now I prefer this solution.
