The file 'Airsoft Side & Top Mounted 40mm Launcher Sight For Picatinny/NATO Rail 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 696.1KB.
Side & top mounted ladder sight for Airsoft 40mm launchers.
The sights are set up as follows:
At 100':
The bottom hole gives you a 1-degree angle, aiming point 1.7’ above level
The middle hole is 6.1 degrees aiming point 9’ higher than the bottom hole
The top hole is 11.1 degrees aiming point 9’ higher then the middle hole
The left and right windage posts are 7' in either direction from the center post
At other ranges, 1/2 that at 50', +50% for 150 and double for 200'.
The sight graduations are copied from the MilSimLabs Bullpup launcher. However, they do not allow remixes, so I can't link the design that way.
The side mount base itself is a pretty standard fare hollow rail box. The rail dimensions are taken from the STANAG 4694 “NATO Accessory Rail” document, which is available free online.
The top mount is flat and slides right on.
As shown in the pictures, I'm using this on my GL06 launcher. As it's offset, you'll be using the windage a bit to compensate.
Screws needed are 2x M3x30mm, 2x M3x25mm, and 2x M3 Nuts. Use any 2 screw holes that fit to mount the sight and the 30mm screws. The 25mm screws are for the sights, and install with no nuts into the plastic.
Print in PETG or ASA. Polycarbonate would also work if you tap the sight holes first (they will snap if you don't) and be gentle.
