The file 'Airsoft Green Gas (Swiss Arms) Can Broken Nozzle Fix 3D Printer Model' is (stl,f3d) file type, size is 193.1KB.
I had a can of Swiss Arms gas that the plastic nozzle broke off when opening the insanely tight cap. I looked up if anyone else had a solution to this, and everyone said "nope, you're fucked, dispose of it". Well, being that this isn't the first or last time this has been an issue for people, I figured there HAS to be a means to salvage this 80% full can.
So, I designed this! It fits over the outer nipple of the can of gas, and has an o-ring (2.1mm cross-section) to retain a good seal. The remainder of the snapped off nozzle is pressed and glued into the 3D printed adapter. This allows the can to be used - carefully, but still - for the remainder of the fill. Make sure to press the adapter in deep enough that it'll still press in the can when pressed down, and release gas. Might want to test before gluing in place. If the hole isn't big enough to fit it in due to print settings/inconsistency, drill it to 4mm diameter.
Of course, as a precaution I advise you only fill and also keep such a can outside, just to keep an abundance of precaution. I'd never advise bringing these cans inside after damaged in any way due to the flammable nature of the gas. I'd also advise wearing gloves (while filling outside) just in case something goes wrong and for instance the nub "sticks" and holds the valve open.
Nonetheless, I hope this idea helps prevent waste and salvages cans for many others in the future!
Note: This was designed for a Swiss Arms can but may well work for others.
