The file 'Aircon Exhaust Adapter 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 13.0KB.
Hi, the summer was hot and I bought a Aircondition.
But how can I manage the stupid exhaust tube?
I thought about that problem and came up with this solution I want to share.
The general Idea:
I open the window and set a acryl window with a exhaust hole into the window frame.
The Exhaust:
I bought an angled exhaust adapter from a round tube to a rectangular outlet.
And I bought a fitting grid part for the outside.
Sadly there is no counterpart for the inside but lucky me I have a 3D printer.
I designed this counterpart but I had to cut it in half because it was to big for my buildplate.
You have to print it two times. The bolts will help assemble it.
The Clamps:
I bought some metal fittings from the window manufacturer and designed some clamps to hold the acryl window in place.
Be carefull with the positioning of this metal fittings, else your window will not close anymore.
The Acryl window:
I found a online service where I can order a pre-cut acryl window with the cut out of the rectangular exhaust and six holes for the clamps.
