Summary

This is just a small air purifier / dust filter system that use a 80mm computer fan. You will need a 12V AC adapter and a 3-pins connector to power the fan. Neophyte-level soldering skills may be required.

This purifier is designed to accept up to two layers (stacked on top of each other) of activated carbon pre-filter since most computer fans don't have a high enough static pressure to make air flows through a HEPA. Carbon pre-filters are generally available in 5mm-thick sheets (e.g. Honeywell HRF-AP1) and you simply cut the size you need.

Note that this air purifier is not a replacement for proper ventilation when 3d printing but it may help.

The 3mf source file is provided. You will need #8x32 bolts (4x) to hold the fan and 4x16mm bolts (4x) & corresponding nuts (4x) to hold the optional cover. You can easily edit the 3mf file in 3D Builder and adapt this little device to your needs (it's really as simple as changing the cylinders size before subtracting them).
