Summary

Air Purifier

I suffer from hay fever, & have designed a air purifier to help with this. I've used the ubiquitous Ryobi paper filter, & added a HEPA pre-filter & a activated charcoal centre section which a 140mm Noctua 12v fan draws outside air through these filters exhausting clean filtered air from it's top.

This is my design solution for this.

I've included embedded hexagonal and square nuts which use M3 bolts to connect everything together..

I'm writing software to control this, & read sensors.

Parts List:

1 x Noctua 140mm x 20mm 12v fan
1 x AC to DC 12v converter
1 x Rotary encoder
1 x 1.8 inch TFT display
4 x M3 x 20r stainless steel bolt
8 x M3 x 10r stainless steel bolt
12 x M3 stainless steel hex nut
1 x M3 x 8 grub screw

I may at a later time use a MosFET & temperature sensor to turn the fan on automatically,
but at this stage, this is the simplest method.
