Summary

I didn't have a blow tube for my shop air gun and didn't want to trip down to the store. Made 2 versions, both thread into 1/4" NPT at the end of an air gun. One is friction fit for 1/4" OD copper tubing and the other has 5/16"-24 threads and a relief inside to allow you to use a compression fitting. (While obvious, I will note, you will have to compress the brass fitting onto the copper tube using a metal fitting then take it off the fitting and screw it on here. Plastic is not strong enough to deform the brass.)

I used various files from others to make the threads. In particular I could not find 5/16"-24 so I used a 5/16"-20 and compressed it by about 20% to get the 24 thread pitch. Since I printed these in TPU it was close enough and it screws on easily.

Note: Both are printed in 95 TPU which provides flexibility as they get dropped/dragged around the shop so that they don't crack. Also this provides a little extra forgiveness in the threads. If you print in hard plastic the friction fit one is not going to work.

I printed at .1mm layer height not sure if you really need to especially with TPU as it will flex to match the threads.
