Adjustable platform for calibrating the gyro and accelerometer of radio controlled vertical launch vehicles such as quadcopters,
Print these parts. No support required. The pylon and lift are hollowed out with open bottoms.
One base. One pylon. One platform. Two lifts. Two cylinders.
The triangle pattern in the platform is called an Isogrid.
Press the pylon and cylinders into the base, secure with glue if desired (or if the fit is loose). Glue the gears to the top of the lifts, they're used to turn the lifts to adjust height.
Snap the lifts into the corner sockets.
Screw the lifts halfway into the cylinders then snap the other socket onto the pylon.
You'll need a bubble level to adjust the platform.
I printed one, had to tweak the diameter of the pylon base and shorten it. Also added some reinforcement to the sockets on the platform.
The lifts need the ends of the pegs at the bottom sanded just a tiny amount, and some careful force is needed the first time turning them into the cylinders. It helps to glue the gears onto them first.
Print at least 30% infill on the lifts and pylons and platform, with 2 perimeters for strength on the balls and sockets.
