I really like the original design. I only extended the inner diameter so the opening is a little wider and accepts thicker AA/LR6 batteries.
I had to adjust it, because the batteries I used don't comply with standard AA/LR6 batteries.
Maximum diameter for AA/LR6 should be 14.5mm. That's exactly what the original poster produced. Our batteries are a little wider, so I had to extend the inner diameter.
