The file 'Acura RSX Gauge Pod Holder VENT 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 47.2KB.
I have two files one of them has a 52mm opening and the other has a 54mm for shrinkage and for a loose fit. It sits flush in the drivers right vent and allows it to screw into the oem location. I will add a flat and angled version later on. I made this for my friends Acura rsx 2000. There is about 1mm of height that can be added for different dashboard tolerances so if it is not large enough you can enlarge in the slicer and it will still fit since i made it a bit loose so i would make a test print before committing to a finer nozzle/height.
To install (this is only a suggestion you are fully responsible for looking up the proper way to take apart your car !):
1) Remove the vent panel from the car.
2) Remove the 2 Phillips screws to remove the vent assy from the dash
remove the one Phillip screw from the rear instide the vent
3) Unclip CAREFULLY the black plastic gauge from the assembly .
4) Removed the inner vent portion can be removed.
5) Screw the print in its place and reassemble.
This was designed so the gauge has a interference fit with tape. there is no way to bolt the gauge into the pod. that is by design
The gauge pod is only mounted via the center screw so it could rotate. If you put a M2 screw in the ridge at the bottom it will interface with the inner ridges in the oem vent to prevent it from moving!
