The file 'Active Carbon Filter 120/90/50/40/20 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 87.4KB.
This is an even simpler solution then the slightly larger I designed (link below). I needed a simple yet effective filter for fumes (smell) and particles produced when 3d printing. A filter is cut to shape from active carbon (about 13-15mm thick). The lid (which holds the filter) is held in place by friction between fan and lid. It should be a snug fit but if too loose just add some tape (I use felt tape).
As always, if you find it useful a tiny donation goes a long way to show appreciation. :)
I made a larger variant with a mounting frame as well: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2752343
Rev 180115: After some prototyping I improved the design. The rubber seal is no longer needed. The honey comb pattern is slightly chamfered to reduce the risk of breaking when removing from the print bed.
Rev 180201: Upon request I've made variants for 90, 50, 40 and 20mm fans as well.
