I found that when the platelike feet were printed in 3d, they made the laser wobbly, so i designed some more stable versions.
Also here is my take on a z-axis that can move up and down.
BOM:
1 pcs. Nema 17 steppermotor
4 pcs. LM8UU linear bearings
8 pcs. 1mm wide zipties
2 pcs. about 105mm 8mm steelrods
1 pcs. 65mm leadscrew with tr8 nut (must be cut on the one side to fit)
assorted 3mm bolts and nuts
