Summary

Screw top container to hold AAA Batteries. You can print the lower piece smaller or bigger in order to hold either 1x or 2x AAA batteries at a time.

The top battery sticks out 3/8 of an inch, so you can grab it. This version works much better than the first version I made.

Print at 0.10mm layer height or finer for best results. Print the cap with threads up (you'll have to turn it 180 degrees) and the body with threads up, too.

I typically have to fit the pieces together a little bit. I use a knife to make a little bit of a chamfer, then I use the blue part of the flame on a bic lighter to heat up the seam in my male threads. I get the threads started, making sure I am not cross threading, then heat up the entire thread section with the bic until it is just warm enough that I can screw it in further.

I typically put batteries in for the second part, as the compression of the threads can make the battery part a little smaller if you don't.

The single battery version is perfect for keeping batteries from contacting metal things in a pocket or in a pack, and having an extra reload for my Olight i3t.

If you make one of these, please snap a picture and post a make!
