Summary

During my testing of an IOT device, I needed to make some accurate current measurements which required me to power the device from an external source.

Typically the u.u.t is powered by two AA cells, configured to supply 3V. To do this it is necessary to replace the cells and attach to the u.u.t either with clips (not always the most robust) or soldering wire to the terminals on the u.u.t.

I wanted a less intrusive method which allows me to imitate the cell connectivity. This has the added benefit of allowing the current to be analysed if the battery terminals are corroded or conformally coated

This is the negative connection, I'll publish the positive connection once I've printed the prototype
