This Adapter is intended to provide a method for replacing standard AA Batteries with a connection to a battery pack of higher capacity (but same voltage) or any other external power source that could provide power for a longer time.
It can be used on older cameras or other devices that don't have a separate power plug.
The voltage of the external power source should match the initial battery pack voltage.
On both sides (+, -) screws, nuts and washers are used to hold the wires in place.
The length of the adapter can be adjusted by increasing/decreasing the number of washer on each side (easier on “+”).
Materials needed:
To get a flatter (-) side, a flat head M3 screw can be combined with a M4 washer.
There are 4 different versions, from A – less material too D – more material, AA BEPA ver.A pref.stl – preferred, should work fine in most cases.
Depending on each particular situation, there are several modes of connecting, combining and using this adapter (see pictures):
To ease up printing overhangs, two thin layers are inserted on both ends. These must be cleaned out with a drill or screw before using.
