Summary

I had the idea to make are two separate rings, but they can be put together and merge into one single ring.

Ideally, I'm hoping that they could be made from silver, one using the original silver color one black silver, and could be actual wedding/engagement rings. Each person will wear one ring, but when the two rings are put together, they become one complete ring, implying that the people complete each other.

This is a design I did several years ago but hadn't been able to make it until now. The PLA texture does not look superb but demonstrates the idea well.

Another design has the similar idea of two rings that merge into one, but the two rings lock together instead of becoming separate. Can't be for couples, of course, but cool.:) Uploaded that model as well, but it won't be printed in two colors unless you have dual extruder.

Update: Actually I found that the assembled version of the two rings looks quite nice to wear as a single ring as well.
