Helped my daughter create a poster for a concert she was attending and decided to add some LEDs. Needed a power supply. A 9V battery seemed most appropriate. So, created a holder for the battery that included space to mount a momentary switch, so she could turn the LEDs on the poster on and off. This is a remix from another excellent design. The switch was acquired from a local electronics shop for $0.99. I used a momentary N/O (normally off) type.
For assembly the 9V battery slides in and is firmly held in place by the arms. The switch slides down and rests on the part. It was hot-glued in place. Note - this was not a precision assembly job. However, results were ideal for the intended use.
