The file '80lb Cobra Pistol Crossbow Rail System Snap On 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 53.4KB.

Summary

I do sell this on eBay if you want to buy one. Under the same name.

UPDATE:

The pic rail was a little short so things were not snug when attached. The rail has since been modified and now should be 100% perfect. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please download the new files for printing.

I wanted a rail for my 80lb Cobra crossbow. None were available so I made one. This one should snap right on to any cobra 80lb crossbow that is styled like the one shown with the holes in the bottom. That is what they lock in to. I have 3 versions to print.

The one in the picture is the hole model ( I put screw holes in incase they were needed. They are not at least on mine). There is also another version without the screw holes and a 3rd with a cut towards the rear in case you have any plastic flashing nubs from the injection molding on the crossbow and you don't want to clean it up. This one also doesn't have holes.

IF you are going to mount a vertical grip you will need the hole version and some 4mm or 6/32 bolts and locking nuts to keep everything in line against the leverage force you may exert especially if you are attempting to cock the crossbow with the vertical grip.

Printed in regular Inland PLA from Micro Center.

Print with 100% infill. I did it rail side up for the nicest finish.
This was printed with a 0.8 nozzle.

The fit should be snug to the point that once you hand force it onto the bottom you will need to gently tap it all the in place with a mallet until the pegs on the inside lock. The cut is one way for the center so the rear of the rail system going towards the trigger has a ramp while the front is a straight cut.

I printed the hole model but mine just locks tightly on so I don't need the screws. If I were to print it again I would print it without the holes and the rear cut.

Enjoy.
