The file '(80 Series) Toyota Land Cruiser Overhead Console 3D Printer Model' is (3mf,f3d,step,stl) file type, size is 16.1MB.
This is a 3D printed design for an overhead console for an 80 series Toyota Land Cruiser.
This will allow you to replace the factory dome light/switch holder with this unit, which you can use to store or hold just about anything. I am using it to hold a GMRS radio (this one: https://www.buytwowayradios.com/wouxun-kg-1000g-plus.html) but I have also included all the different base objects which you can use to customize it to your needs. I've included the CAD files also, so you have full control over my design.
This design is loosely based off of the overhead console commonly found on JDM land cruisers which was used to hold the aux fuel gauge, and an altimeter/compass.
My design is using the 2 existing bolts that hold the unit in place, and as long as you don't plan on putting something heavy up there that will be more than enough to secure everything. If you do put something heavier in there, there are 2 additional holes on the roof towards the front (or back of the console) that can be used, but my design does not have those holes so they will need to be measured and added.
These files could be used to print what I have designed of course, or if you wanted to just print a replacement cover for the original factory one you could do that too. If you have any ideas on how it could be improved upon, please let me know!
