Summary

There's a few good pill dispensers here already, but I wanted something to help me learn Fusion 360 so I decided to design my own. My criteria were that I wanted it to be easy to use and easy to refill; secure enough to safely store a week's worth of the various medications my doctors like me to take, easy to see the day names (without having to put on my glasses), and I wanted it to be reasonably pleasing to the eye.

I also wanted something easy to print that doesn't require any supports, or any non-printable parts.

After much trial and error, and quite a few variations, I'm finally happy with the result (and I have learned a lot about how to do stuff in Fusion 360!).

May 2018 update:
Uploaded a stackable body file. I made the floor a bit thicker and added a recess for the bolt to fit into. Seems to work ok. You might want to print with support for this, but I found with External Fill set to rectilinear it wasn't necessary.

Also added a plain top (without the pattern).

Also, for those who were interested in printing with transparent filament, I added a top with windows for each compartment. I found I get best transparency results by minimising the number of layers and lines, so when slicing I recommend a layer thickness of 0.32 and width of 0.5. Also set your external (top/bottom) infill to concentric.
