8mm Film reel with a 7 inch diameter. The center hole size is for 8mm projector spindles. The reel will work with Super 8mm film, but not the larger Super 8mm spindles. The reel was designed for the film converters sold on Amazon. The Eyeson brand converter supports up to 9" reels, but they only supply a 5" take up reel.
The reel is designed to print without supports in two pieces. The two sides have notches to help alignment when assembling the unit. Check to make sure the splines are open all the way through when putting the two sides together. If not, simply rotate one side 180 degrees.
An adaptor hub is also included for using Super 8mm reels on the converter. It is not used with this reel.
