The file '608 Bearing Press 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 263.7KB.
I liked esquivel's bearing press and printed it out, to install some bearings in rollers that I printed, but it was not suitable for my application. The Spinner press is designed to press the bearings flush with the surface of the fidget spinner. The bearings in my design are recessed.
So based on esquivel's design, I started from scratch and designed a set of presses to install bearings into a recessed hole. These are the 608 Bearing Press In.stl and 608 Bearing Press Flush.stl. It still uses 5/16" Nuts and Bolts. 2" is a good size to start with, but depending on your application, you may need to go up or down in length. I also made the nut holes deeper, so the nut does not protrude out the back and it no longer needs supports.
I then designed a set of presses designed to remove the bearings from the recessed hole. These models are the 608 Bearing Press Out.stl and 608 Bearing Pusher.stl. One side has a hole big enough for the bearing to fall into as it supports the part being pressed. The other side is narrower, to get past the "shoulder" of my roller. This second set is not as strong as the first, as you may be able to see in the photo (after testing to failure). I am in the middle of redesigning this to be stronger.
Please post a Make if this works out for you.
Note: The Press is fairly strong considering that this is plastic, but not as strong as a real arbor press...
