Needed a barb for a diy irrigation system that would allow me to connect a 12mm (0.5 inch) internal diameter hose directly to a common garden hose quick connector (gardena/hoselock) and couldn't find one on here. While looking I also thought a few other sizes could be useful too.
Guppyk's drip irrigation system and SmilingImpact's 1/2 inch screw in barb almost got me there but no joy.. So the two met in Tinkercad and these, their lovechildren were born.. Unlike their parents, they're not pretty but they seem to work.
They need an o-ring for the male hose connector side (see GuppyK's set) and while the barbs are a snug fit a Stainless Steel Hose Clamp will ensure the pipe stays on the barb if using higher pressures.
I've found a raft is necessary to print these (they will print either end down) and no supports needed if printing hose quick connector down. I've usually had issues getting the rounded hose connector end to print cleanly but that's likely just my settings not being tight. Slower speeds (40ms) and lower resolution also help with better, accurate end result in just over an hour per print
