The file '6″ – 6 Inch Ducting Grow Tent Mount 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 494.3KB.

Summary

NOTE: This can be scaled up or down for 4" or 8" ducting but you would need to determine what size screws you would need.

What you'll need:

  • 8x12mm screws and nuts.

  • Duck Tape.

  • Ducting Clamps

Instructions:

I made this a square because squares are easier to cut than perfect circles.

So...

  1. Cut a ~6x6" square hole in your grow tent wherever you want to add a vent.
  2. Put duct tape on both sides of the hole - this helps strengthen the fabric AND acts as a gasket.
  3. Put the GrowTentVent_Top print up to the hole you just cut and using that print as a guide, drill a hole in the top corner through the fabric and tape.
  4. Put a #8x12mm screw through that hole to fasten the GrowTentVent_Top print to the GrowTentVent_BaseSquare (or whichever one you want) print with the fabric and duct tape in between (so the "top" print goes on the outside and the "Base" print goes on the inside.
  5. Next, do the same for the oposite, lower corner. Once those two corners are done, drill out and bolt the remaining holes.

I think the pictures can explain most of this but comment if you have questions!

NOTE: I also included a base part that allows you to direct the airflow in a certain direction :)

NOTE 2: Each of the "Base" models has nut-shaped holes so that lock the nuts in place so it's easier to bolt everything in.
