I modelled this version of the plastic rivot/push-pin for my 2013 Kawasaki ninja 300 when my plastics kit didn't come with them.
fits roughly a 6.5mm hole.
Insert the retainer (not pin) into hole first.
I've found that its difficult to get through if you combine the retainer and pin before installing.
Combine them during installation.
