This 3D printable Thing is a two-part holder designed to mount a 5" HDMI display in the optical disc drive bay of your PC case.
Ideal for enhancing your computer setup, this display holder provides a seamless and professional look, fitting perfectly into the standard 5.25" drive bay. Practical addition for monitoring system stats, displaying custom graphics, or any other creative use you can think of. Compatible with most PC cases, this display holder is a must-have for tech enthusiasts and DIY PC builders.
CONSTRUCTION:
The 5" display has 4 bolts on the back side for the stand-offs that should come with the display. We use them to screw it down to the "Back_plate" part with 4 nuts (I just took the ones I found around but I think they were M2.5)
Then you just need to screw the "Front_panel" part to the rest with 4x M3 bolts or just some small screws because the threads are inside the "Front_panel" part. If the threads fail to print correctly then just screw it in with small screws xD It works the same.
That's it. Now you just pop it in your PC :) Hope this helps and makes you happy. I already made it a while back but just now decided to share it with all of you.
PS: I used AIDA64 for the custom monitoring graphics
PSS: If anyone wants to change it to their will they can do so with the 2 SLDPRT files I also uploaded.
