Disclaimer: If you damage any device using this print, electrically or mechanical it is your own responsibility. Check + and - on your device before adding the wires and power supply.

If you have a device running on 4x AA batteries next to a power socket, this might be a good option to use with a 6V DC adapter.

We have a cat flap from SureFlap which needs 4x AA batteries every 3 months, which becomes a expensive cat flap to use, besides sometimes batteries drains out and cat's can't get in or out.

I made this simple adapter to use with our cat flap, but it should work most devices powered with 4x AA batteries. It is a tight fit, be careful when inserting, flat side of the print should be on top. Check in the battery compartment which side needs to be powered, and also check the polarity to make sure you won't wire it wrong and damage your device.

You can make a hole in the battery cover to lead through the wires.

You need:
two M4 bolts (10mm long)
two M4 nuts
6VDC power supply
Wires.
