Have you ever thought to yourself “I want to pour desiccant beads right in to the 4L cereal container I use as a dry box, but still neurotically want it separated a bit from the roll of filament”? Me too!
Here's my attempt at a solution: a simple patform/riser that lets you fill the bottom of the cereal container with desiccant beads while supporting the roll of filament above it. Uses much less filament than the little containers I've seen used (and who needs a box in a box anyway?), but keeps your filament dignified and proud.
The fit is a bit loose, so you can slide them in/out and they are thin and may flex a bit depending on the weight of the spool and how much desiccant you pour in.
The design is meant to fit these specific 4L Praki containers from Amazon, but may fit others too.
