So you've got a great mask that uses the 3M cartridges but... can't find or don't want to buy them. This is a replacement 3M filtration system that uses the "Makers Modular Mask System" Parts https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4256244 The lite version of the cap is available at the original posting in case you want to print this with less poly or simply prefer the design. The cap on here uses a reverse airflow method that covers the filter from direct hits of liquids.
This system is optimized for 60mm makeup pads for air filtration. You can load 1, 2 or 4 to each side pads depending on your needs for air filtration and the configuration you chose. I recommend 4 and 4 to make 8 makeup pads (they're about $1 for 100 here where I live so that would make for an 8 cents worth of filters) You can also put anything else in here that you want. Paper towels, TP (hard to find sometimes) shop towels, etc...
NOTE: This system has not been approved by anyone that I know of. But it should be better than nothing. Use at your own discretion and your own risk.
