Summary

Thanks to Ratm3at for this 3dpburner pen holder design. I used the S3003 servo and redesigned the spring a bit.

I also used an arduino nano to interface the servo with GRBL.

Solder a 1x3 header on the left side of the ISP connector like in the picture. Relocate the servo wires (brown/orange/red) and solder a button between GND and D3. (The button is just to test the code and check servo movement. Press button to lower pen)

Connect the spindle_dir of GRBLcontroller to D3 and use M3/M4 commands to control pen up/down.

See arduino.txt attached under files for the arduino code.

Best is to remove the spring while testing the servo code. Once you are sure the servo movement range is OK, attach the spring.
