Update: After some hard landings I realized it was not a great idea to have the landing gear integrated into the motor mount / arm. Also it was getting in the way of trying a new bottom mounted motor. So I redesigned the arm to be easier to use for a bottom mounted motor and made the landing gear a separate piece that can be replaced in the case of an accident, or when I ran into a wall.
This is my version of MikeB's Crossfire. I was having a few problems printing the top plate and also opened it up a bit. I wanted to use a motor mount within the control arm and also strengthen up the actual gear and get as much length as possible. The only drawback is you have to print one at a time. Its large enough it has to be printed at an angle on your build platform (should be easy to shorten it and print multiples). For my bottom plate I am using: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:124868
MikeyB's original was a great base so everything pretty much goes together as it does.
