Summary

Hi !
This is my 3D printed portable Gamecube. It was designed to allow the user to play GC games and emulators on the go. Specs :

  • 5mm thick shell ( i will have to change this later as it caused problems for some of the ports like the ac adapter and the maing analog stick)
  • Integrated controller with original buttons and analog sticks (except for the shoulder buttons that use the double tact switch method)
  • Speakers with amplifier and volume knob
  • 2500 mah Batteries that allow about an hour and a half of gameplay)
  • 5 inch screen wired with composite video
  • WiikeyFusion clone from Badassconsole
  • SD Gecko support
  • No Motherboard cut (the mobo should fit without cutting it)
  • Wall power/Batteries switch
  • Headphones plug.
  • Integrated memory card
  • Player 2 port
  • Original power supply port

I'll post a list of parts if you guys are intrested. Here is a link of the whole building process detailed with pictures and stuff (not a tutorial as things have changed on the design overtime) : http://forums.modretro.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=14567

!!!WARNING!!! MUST READ!!!

I am not responsible in any way of damages or injuries caused on anything. If you fry your motherboard or burn your house down it is on you. This is not a tutorial, i just want to share my work. Also some tweaking of the models might be necessary as i had to adjust things with a dremel before putting all of the console together.

Thank you and Happy Printing :)
