The file '3D Printed Fabric / Armour 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 20.6MB.
After seeing the NASA printable fabric / armour, it made me realize mine wasn't so bad! Ha
This is my first working version, and it works, but the new version is much better.
below are link to the latest versions, much better than this one, each for different purposes.
The latest version uses bamboo rods with printed ball ends. It's very strong, and flexible with the pla joining disk being 60 mm across, and the ball ends 15mm.

This version prints assembled, 34mm dia joining rings, and printed in place 22mm tie rods.

The version below works great as joining links for the version just above but is time consuming to assemble.

Update! After seeing that this kind of thing is interesting to the thingiverse community, I've decided to update the design. This was an experiment to try creating a multipart skin that was printable assembled. It worked but I find the dumbbells pop out of their sockets a bit too easy.
Here's a link to a short youtube video of me handling it.

I hope to upload a new version that will be much easier to print, and assemble. Please like this one, and follow my account for updates
