3D Printed DIN 2 Radio Adapter for VW LT

This is a 3D printed adapter designed to fit a DIN 2 radio into the dashboard of a classic VW LT. It ensures a flush fit if the LT has a glove compartment. Some slight modifications to the underlying structure are necessary for mounting the radio.

Key Features:

Mounting: The radio is secured in the frame using four screws. If you are confident you won’t need to access the area behind the unit frequently, the adapter can be glued in place.
Access: For easy removal, the top of the adapter features small holes that can hold a small pin (e.g., an untrimmed rivet).
Adjustment: The bottom of the adapter has three tabs that can be shaped by heating. We recommend securing these tabs with three screws for added stability.

Surface Finish: The frame is printed 1 mm smaller to allow for a faux leather covering.
