I designed this to recycle tin cans and jars for hydroponics. I redesigned this idea from common netting hydroponic set ups. I took the netting idea and changed it for fast and quick 3d printing to fit on the lip of a can or tomato sauce jar, or salsa jar, or what ever kind of jar. You might have to do some tweaks because cans and jars are sadly not standard. Just put in some growing medium in the top and have your liquid nutrients in the can or jar. Make sure the glass is covered. Algae will form because of the light and the nutrients will make it grow super fast. You can leave it to grow for a long time without watering. It might take 2 to 3 weeks before you need to water it again. I've gone a month without doing it myself.
I've tested this with basil, pepper plants, and a few other spices. This really helped me with starting my garden inside while recycling.
