Like many Industrial Technology classes, I teach a transportation unit that culminates with the construction of wooden CO2 cars. Well this year I decided to take this classic project to the next level. I had my students design their cars using the Autodesk Inventor software and then 3D printed each design.
Seeing my students go through the design process was very interesting because they had to design a car that was both 3D printable as well as aerodynamic. I was so impressed with my student's creations that I decided to share this project and I am hoping to inspire other teachers and students.
I posted the files of what my students came up with and would love to see some remixes of this project in the future.
