This was a personal project that i decided to do, to see if i could make an enclosure to keep the air temperature constant as i am looking to move onto more advanced printing materials that require a more stable environment. The nuts, bolts and washers are ISO M6 & M4 , the rod is ISO M6...it was designed to work with 3mm extruded Acrylic sheeting (However you can easily just use longer bolts if you wish to use thicker sheets) ...The air vents size and shape is obviously up to you and if you wish to use a fan or not, is your choice.
Secondly i decided to do modifications to the generic store-bought cable chain so that it could fit along the X-axis motor mount and linear rail system in a neat, simple and refined manner, without having to reprint it or any other drastic changes, simply remove the end two bracket pieces and clip the rest of the chain onto my 3D printed brackets - and as you can see, it works like a charm for confined spaces.
I also took the liberty of adding the printer settings i used with these prints for your convenience.
